Choosing where to go to church can be tough. Choosing where to eat after church can be even tougher. When you have four kids, it is nearly impossible.

Today I have the privilege of explaining 9 reasons we do not go out to eat on Sunday afternoons at Bryan Allain’s blog Daily Doses of Humor and Inspiration. If you are not familiar with his website you should definitely go check it out, especially today, since that is where my post is.

For those of you who write a blog, have you ever wished you could get 17% more traffic in 12 weeks?  This is another reason for you to check out Bryan’s site. In May he is starting a course and community called Blog Rocket. He offers practical ideas about how to make your web log better.

Enjoy his site and this coming Sunday think of me when you have to bribe the hostess at Applebee’s just to get a booth next to a screaming kid.

This was great! I work at a church and we have 5 services. I normally go home to eat so that I can take a longer nap before the evening services. Oh and I my kids (twins) are 3 weeks old and we plan on never letting them out of the house so this type of thing doesn’t happen.

Twins? That was one of my greatest fears every time my wife was pregnant.

good stuff man. My daughter is 9 months old and super high energy, so if we are in a restaurant she requires an arsenal of toys to keep her occupied, otherwise she starts throwing plates, yanking cups and tearing up napkins.

And then you find yourself constantly picking up toys after she throws them in the floor but it is worth it and after awhile you hardly notice.

Great! Love the list. So glad you didn’t make me fell guilty for putting people to work on Sundays when they should be sabbathing. Thanks!

Funny that you mention that. I spent a lifetime doing that and am done with that now.
