It is not uncommon for people to call me a princess. I like to think of myself as a queen, but I do answer to princess.

Either way, royalty is clearly in my blood. Everywhere I go people stop whatever they are doing just so that they can gaze at me. I love it, but I don’t want to look like I love it, so I always look away. Mom calls me bashful.

I have also noticed that once I pull the bashful move, I get anything I want. Just like a princess.

If you doubt how important I am, I can prove it to you. Come over to our house and see the throne my mother bought me. She calls it a high chair, but I like to think of it as more of a chair for “your highness. “

I sit here often. Sometimes it so that people can bring me food. It’s absolutely amazing. I do nothing except eat. I don’t prepare the food. I don’t clean up the mess. i don’t even have to lift my own hand from the plate to my mouth. Somebody always does this for me.

When I don’t like the food, I just throw it on the floor. I really can’t stand the thought of having it just sit there in front of me, especially when it is not fitting for a queen.

And if I’m not hungry, I still just throw it over the side. Molly, our dog, just licks it up. She will eat anything.

If I get bored sitting in my chair, I play a game.

I noticed that if I stand up in my chair it always get a reaction from my parents. I stand up and they immediately tell me to sit down. I then start to sit down, but not all the way. As soon as I get close they tell me that I am a good girl. I laugh and then I stand up again. They tell me no and that I need to sit down. So I repeat the process.

It’s a fun game. You can watch it below.

I know the rule is for me to stay seated, but the game is too much fun to stop.

Every time I do this mom just keeps reminding me. She doesn’t get mad, she just gently reminds. Sometimes, though she makes it where I can’t stand up. There is this belt attached to the chair and when she puts that belt on me, I can’t stand up at all. It’s a little bit of a buzzkill.

I heard mom and dad talk about it once. It seemed like they were saying that it’s not safe for me to stand up in my chair. They are worried that I might fall and get hurt. I have no idea how many accidental deaths occur each year due to kids falling out of their chairs, but whatever.

They remind each other that they made the rule because it is for my good.

Maybe it is safer, but I can’t resist doing it. I don’t understand what they mean by the word dangerous. Danger is just a concept that I don’t get.

I have noticed, however, that even though I keep breaking the rule, they still love me. They still hug me and kiss me. They still change my diaper. They even keep calling me their princess.

Are there any rules you like to break even though you know you shouldn’t? Tell us about it the comments.
