Don’t Shoot the Messenger
I am glad that we have the opportunity to sit down today and talk. Sorry we could not meet in person, but a digital discussion will just work fine for me.
Talk about what you ask? Oh you know, just whatever. We could talk about our kids or the crazy weather we are having or why more doughnuts aren’t made from red velvet cake. We could discuss reasons why some people spell the word “doughnut” and others spell it “donut.”
Why am I so fidgety? No reason at all. I have absolutely no reason to be fidgety or anxious or worried? Do I really seem anxious because there is definitely no anxiety on my part.
Is something wrong? Am I hiding something from you? That was an incredibly rude question for you to ask.
Okay, okay. I do have some bad news today. I am not publishing a new post here.
Instead, you can read an article I wrote entitled “Don’t Shoot the Messenger” which is about giving people bad news. The post is featured on Michael Hyatt’s blog Intentional Leadership. Michael is the CEO of Thomas Nelson Publishers as well an expert on leadership, publishing, and social media. If you have never read his blog before, you should stop wasting your time here and go check it out.
Sorry if I did a poor job telling you the bad news. Apparently I need to read my own post too.
