My name is Jeremy Statton. I use this blog to write about my personal experience in transitioning from a faith that was heavily based in the law and making rules to one that starts with grace.
My goal is to make a difference in your life by sharing my experiences and ideas. The basis of our relationship with God is his grace. By confessing areas where I have tried to earn favor with God, my hope is to depend more and more on his love.

Biography
I grew up in a small town in western Kentucky. After college I attended the University of Louisville School of Medicine. After completing a residency in Orthopedic Surgery I then went studied sports medicine at the University of Cincinnati and Orthopedic Trauma at Wilhelminenspital in Vienna, Austria. My practice is located just outside of Louisville in LaGrange, KY.
I am married to Amanda and together we share the blame 4 incredible kids. We are also in the process of adopting a little girl from China. Together we live in a log cabin in the woods.
